Well, it was a very good weekend here for us at Seaward Portuguese Water Dogs at the Ladies Kennel Club of BC show in Cloverdale, BC. "Sharmink's Diabo do Bandido" aka "Bandit" was able to get his final 2 points by going Winners Male and Best of Opposite Sex the first day making him a new Canadian Champion. The last day of the show, while going against 2 Specials, he was able to go Best of Breed. What an accomplishment for him as he was showed sparingly in 2007 as we were showing our other boy. Another interesting thing which made this win so good was that the Specials Male that he beat was the son of a dog he had beat our numerous times on his limited showing. Way to go "Bandit" and now we are working on his Obedience and Agility Titles. Stay tuned for more information on our other up and comings this year.
