UPDATED: 5-2-08 *** Enzo is now 3 Points away from his US Championship!!***

We'd like to introduce you to our Portuguese Water Dogs that live with us underfoot. We do not kennel raise our dogs as we feel that a Portuguese Water Dog is for life and deserve all the love and attention. They have the free run of the house when we are present and are always a loved member of our household. We hope you enjoy the pics of our dogs and hopefully learn more about our family. • "Canadian & Australian Champion Dassin's Too Right I Am" aka "Enzo" is our newest addition. He's a Brown and White Parti-Coloured Wavy male that is sired by "Australian Champion Dassin's Surfs Up X Australian Champion Anchor's Dolly at Helm's Alee". His sire's lines are from the famed English Kennel "Gemson" and his dam is from the famed American Kennel "Helm's Alee". Here is an excerpt of the Enzo's type from Christine Moore at Dassin Kennels: His coat is gorgeous. He has a good head, and is very sound coming and going, good top line and tail set. He is a big dog at 22 inches. Enzo has only been beaten twice for the breed in his show career, he has a number of group awards and 4 puppy in show wins. He has also had several junior in group and in show awards. He is also the full litter brother to Best of Breed winner from famed Portuguese Judge "Carla Molinari". He will handled professionally for his show career in Canada and we will be showing him in the USA for his AKC Championship. Enzo is now a Canadian Champion in 3 shows, multi-Best of Breed Winner and a Group Winner.  *** Enzo now has his Majors in the USA towards his American Championship and is 3 Points away from geting his Championship *** A big thanks to Christine Moore and Roy Mallinder from Dassin Kennels in Australia for allowing Enzo to join our family and another thanks to Joanne Forsythe from Helm's Alee to letting us know about him. Optigen B1, OFA Excellent, GM1 (Normal) and CERF (PW-5941/2007-34). Stud Service available to approved health tested bitches. Please e-mail us for more details.
  • "Canadian Champion Sharmink's Diabo do Bandido" aka "Bandit". He is our Black and White Parti-Coloured wavy male that is sired by "Can. Ch. Bridonport's Darby at Sharmink X Sharmink's Bessie on the Mira".  Bandit was shown sparingly for 2007 as we were showing our other dog "Enzo" and did not want to have them competing for points from each other. In his short showing career, he was able to get 6 Best of Breeds and 2 of them were beating our 2 Specials. We are extremely proud of our little boy as he was purchased as a Juniors Dog but has proven to be more than just that.  We will continue with his career in Agility and Obedience.  He has not been health tested but will do so on his 2 year birthday as of May. As of 1-25-08 Bandit is officially a CANADIAN CHAMPION getting his last 2 points under Judge W. Taylor and a Best of Breed over Specials on his last day of showing under Judge. Mr. H. Pybus.
  • "Seaward's Geisha Disco Boy" aka "Disco" is a Black and White Wavy son of our "Helm's Alee Summer Heat Flash x Kyessiline Ariel". He was born to a litter of 9 puppies on June 8th, 2007 and we are so excited to finally be able to keep a "Flash" son. This litter of PWDs is very exciting for us as this will also be "Flash's" last litter and we are hoping that he will do his father proud in the Show Ring for later on this year. He has already started his show training at the tender age of 6 weeks. He will be a joy to show and we cannot wait to show him the Bred by Exhibitor Class. Look out for him in the show ring for 2008. *** Disco was able to get his 1st point towards his Canadian Championship so look for him in the showring ***
  • "Keeva Bay's Seaward Siren Song" aka "Siren is a Black and White Wavy girl that will be joining our family. She is out of Best in Specialty Show "Am/Can CH. Pouch Cove's Orion Leal"  X "Am/Can CH. Drydock's at Keeva Bay". We are very excited to be able to show this girl as she has a lot to offer. Parents are both very strong in the pedigree and she is entered in the Futurity Class for the PWDCA National Specialty 2008. We cannot wait to show her so look for her in the upcoming shows in 2008. *** Siren was also able to get her 1st Point by going Winners Female/Best of Winners and Best of Breed ***
